From Vision to Venture
My journey in the entertainment industry started with a risk—not mine, but my parents’. Both Italian immigrants who came to America for a better life, they sacrificed everything to give me opportunities they never had. When I first discovered my passion for music, they did something most would never even consider—my mom took a pension loan, and together, they used it to buy me my first set of DJ equipment. They had no idea if it would ever amount to anything, and everyone told them they were crazy for doing it. But they saw something in me that others didn’t. Maybe they were a little biased, but I think they were right. That sacrifice meant everything—it pushed me to go all in and turn my passion into a career.

As I built my name, I met Anthony Gerardi, the original founder of Partners in Sound Productions. His vision and relentless drive aligned with mine, and together, we saw an opportunity to take things to the next level. That partnership led to an even bigger move—teaming up with Mike Gregorio, the sole proprietor of The Premier Party Network, whose expertise and reputation only strengthened what we were building. Together, the three of us launched Platinum Entertainment, combining our strengths to create something bigger than any of us could have done alone. Years later, we combined forces with Dash of Class, further expanding our reach and influence in the industry.
One of the hardest moments of my career came when my close friend Frank Provenzano, who built Prosho, a leading audio-visual production company, tragically passed away. In the wake of his loss, my partners and I were given the opportunity to continue what he started. But Prosho wasn’t just ours to carry—it was built and run by Joe Russo, the VP, from the very beginning. Together, we ensured Frank’s legacy lived on while continuing to grow Prosho into one of the most respected AV production companies in the industry.

Some things in life go beyond business. Years after 9/11, I met my wife, and through her, I learned the incredible story of her father, Carl V. Bini, a true hero who lost his life that day. His legacy lives on through the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, an organization dedicated to helping families in need. Though I never had the chance to meet him, his impact is something I carry with me every day. Supporting this foundation isn’t just about honoring his memory—it’s about continuing his mission of service and giving back to the community.
Now, Anthony, Mike, Joe, and I have merged everything we’ve built into one powerhouse. Merge Event Solutions isn’t just a company—it’s a vision, a movement, and a testament to the belief that when the right people come together, anything is possible. Whether in business, philanthropy, or life, I’ve always been about uniting people to build something greater than ourselves. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.
